SCION-- Our NEW Library catalog and your account online.

The Mitchell Community Public Library has switched from SIRSI to a web based circulation system call SCION (Shared Catalog of Indiana Online), we hope all of our patrons will like the changes that will be appearing. Patrons will be able to place HOLDS and Renew items from their home computers with a valid library card and password. Also on the SCION page are links to HOOSIER HERITAGE - an Indiana History and Genealogy site to do research, ILearn - a Lifelong Learning site for Hoosiers, Indiana Business Resource - a site about business in Indiana and resources and INCOLSA a statewide network providing leadership in cooperative activities for Indiana libraries. Please note our NEW fines and fee schedule. All two-week items - books and magazines will be .10 per day per item and 2 - week educational video/DVD will be .50 cent per day per item with ONE renewal. All one-week entertainment videos/DVDs will be .50 cents per day per item with a ONE week checkout with NO renewals. Please ask the library staff for help in using the new system.
